Despite Britain experiencing it's hottest summer in decades, nothing will spoil my love affair with black. Dressing for the summer, while still maintaining my own style resulted in this nineties grunge-meets-goth look. I'm loving racer back and front style tops, as I feel they flatter a small bust like my own - plus they show off my tattoos. I seem to be living in my black kimono, it's a brilliant layering piece to take you from day to night over summer. As I've mentioned in previous Outfit Of The Day posts, I like to break up my all black ensembles with different textures of black, so this crushed velvet skater skirt gives an almost silvery tone to the skirt, making the all black have some depth.
A while ago I went to the New Look AW'14 press day with Millie, from She Hearts The High Street and they kindly gave us a gift card with which I purchased these beautiful black heeled chelsea boots. They're really comfortable and the leather effect has a worn finish that helps with the gurney feel.
Only a quick post today! I'm working on some exciting things in the next couple of months and I'm in the process of moving too. Since seeing Metallica at Sonisphere a few weeks ago, I've rekindled my love of them, hence the title of this post!
