Despite the lovely weather Britain has been having, my habit for wearing all black everything is hard to kill. Last week, Millie - of She Hearts The High Street - and I spent the day in one of our favourite places in London; Camden. Full of eccentricity, Camden is a great place to shop, eat, drink and people watch and has been a favourite area in London of mine (and Millie's!) for a long time. If it were acceptable to wear black from head to toe anywhere, it would be Camden! Adjusting to summer appropriate dress is something that does not come naturally to me, so in this outfit I tried to add sheer textures to make the outfit as summery as possible- for me anyway!
Another great thing about Camden is the abundance of photo back drop opportunities. We stumbled across this beautiful antique mirror shop that perfectly bounced the light and gave several great angled pictures. Similarly, towards Chalk Farm station there is a wall that always has fantastic graffiti and in fact once had an original Banksy. That however has been covered now with a incredibly colourful piece that we utilised to contrast against my all black outfit and red hair. Also check out Millie's Outfit of the Day from this same day, we found an amazing backdrop for her all black 'summer' outfit!

After our day in Camden, we went for dinner and drinks at The Giant Robot in Farringdon. Millie is a huge Sci-Fi fan, and we both love american style diners, so this was a perfect place for us. It was also really near a workshop we were due to attend that evening. Hosted by Vonage, the 'Blog to Business' workshop saw freelancers Elizabeth and Emma give us tips and trick in order to help us transform our blogs from a hobby to an actual job. I definitely left feeling inspired so watch this space for some subtle changes, plus a huge project I have begun working on since this workshop. Thank you to Vonage - in particular Micaela, and Emma and Elizabeth!
